Rosetta Stone Winter Game Jam

Rosetta Stone invites you to compete in their Winter Game Jam on January 8-10, 2010 in Harrisonburg, VA.

Their website announcement:

"We're looking for people who like to code, compete and most importantly, win. So bring your game face and gaming ability to the place where Rosetta Stone® was born to prove you've got skills. Fly solo or work with some pals to build and create something that will inspire us, motivate us, utterly floor us, in 48 hours or less. Come see if your big ideas can help you win big.

This event will be held at Rosetta Stone's location in Harrisonburg, VA from January 8th - 10th, 2010. You must apply by November 16th, 2009 to be considered for the competition. To apply, please answer the following question - 'Describe your passion' - for building games that teach and motivate people.' Gamers must be or have a team with at least one programmer with game development programming experience using either Flash, XNA, OpenGL, PyGame, etc. You will be asked to provide an example of past creations of any form or level in order to qualify. Teams may include up to four members. All team members must be 18 years of age or over to participate, or be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during their participation."
